Supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology, YOUYI developed a new generation of polypropylene pipe for water supply from imported raw materials including Borealis and Hyosung. YOUYI PP-R pipe is manufactured in accordance with the specifications set-forth in ISO14001, ISO9001, GB/T18742.1, GB/T18742.2, GB/T18742.3 and GB/T17219. Owing to its well-established technical, economic, and ecological advantages, PP-R pipe becomes a popular product adopted world-wide, especially by developed countries.

Compared to other kinds of pipes, YOUYI PP-R pipe produces a higher temperature resistance, stress cracking resistance, economic efficiency, and a longer service life. It is therefore used as the replacement of other pipes. There are various chemicals, minerals and impurities that can react with the wall of metal pipe and produce oxidation or exfoliation, resulting in second pollution. PP-R pipe uses reinforced polypropylene, a recyclable and environmental-friendly material, and prevents the release of heavy metals and other harmful substances. Meeting the prescribed environment and health standards, PP-R pipe is among the most suitable and ecological pipes for drinking water and food industry.
